Yes, it is. The measurement was taken with the aperture set to the minimum, and the image size set to 60 inches using the move and zoom function. This has also been verified through on-site testing by TÜV.
By applying the NebulaMaster™ 2.0 algorithm, X1 detects the projected image's brightness in real time and adjusts the variable aperture and brightness across grayscale levels to achieve a 5000:1 static contrast ratio and 56000:1 dynamic contrast ratio. This means better image quality, especially under bright ambient lighting.
Yes. NEBULA X1 features Adaptive Al HDR tone mapping, powered by the NebulaMaster™ algorithm. This technology brings out light and dark details in images, creating depth and making images look more realistic and lifelike.
X1 supports a screen size of up to 300 inches (6–10 m/19.7–32.8 ft) with an optical zoom lens (throw ratio 0.9:1 to 1.5:1). For optimal IEA performance, position the projector 1.2–4 m (3.9–13.1 ft) away.See the table below for specific throw distances.
Yes, NEBULA X1 supports 3D projection using DLP Link technology. To experience 3D content, you'll need compatible DLP Link 3D glasses and 3D content.
Compared to the traditional lens shift, the micro gimbal offers two key advantages: 1. Wider Scene Adaptability The built-in micro gimbal supports a pitch angle of up to ±25°, far exceeding the ~5° adjustment range of conventional lens shift. This allows for more flexible placement, from low setups to projecting onto walls up to 3 meters high, all while the device itself is compact and easy to reposition.2. Superior Image Quality Lens shift works by adjusting the lens's position internally, which can lead to reduced clarity especially toward the edges. In contrast, the micro gimbal rotates the entire optical engine. Combined with a high-resolution all-glass lens and wide-range optical zoom, the deivce maintains maximum image sharpness with minimal resolution loss.
NEBULA X1 can be used both indoors and outdoors. During indoor use, its high brightness, high contrast ratio, vivid colors, up to 300'' screen size, 40W stereo sound can deliver an incredibly immersive viewing experience. By using optical zoom technology, you can adjust the screen freely without sacrificing image quality.
Yes, speckle is an inherent issue for tri-laser DLP projectors. To reduce the impact, we've implemented the following solutions:1. Used multi-wavelength lasers to reduce the coherence time of the light source, disrupting the conditions that cause speckle. 2. Added a depolarization device into the optical engine, converting polarized light into unpolarized light. This leads to reduction in the coherence time of the laser, therefore suppressing speckle. 3. Used our exclusive patented U-shaped optical path design, resulting in 2-stage speckle suppression. By using all the methods above, we've achieved an industry-leading speckle contrast ratio, significantly reducing speckle.
Yes. NEBULA X1 features a built-in light sensor that detects ambient light in real time. By factoring in the ambient light brightness and screen size, it adjusts X1's brightness accordingly to ensure the best viewing experience.
The rainbow effect is unavoidable in tri-laser projectors. The projector uses laser beams in three colors, red, green, and blue, which are then projected in rapid sequence onto a screen to form a full-color image. When the human eye tracks moving objects, the Persistence of Vision can cause color layering, resulting in a rainbow effect. To combat this, the refresh rate of Nebula X1 has been increased to 240Hz (compared to 60Hz typical in DLP projectors), thus reducing or eliminating the visibility of the rainbow effect for most people. In addition, we recommend sitting at a reasonable distance from the screen to further reduce visbility of the effect.

Fun with friends and family

Two weeks in and we have loved it! Movie room, bedroom ceiling while in bed, and outside in the early evening with friends and family!

Everyone loves how crisp and clear it is, even in the evening light outdoors, 3500 lumens make a big difference! The Bluetooth speakers are great, though I may try to complement with another speaker with more bass. I also have it set up on a tripod to keep it above the kids heads.

Upgrade!

So far, extremely well pleased. I had been running a Cosmos Max for the last 5 years and was very happy with it. When I saw this one advertised online with the increased brightness and programming for ease of set up, I was quick to order for my uses ( often in higher levels of ambient lighting).

The picture and sound are exemplary, of course, and the ease of use and set up is a big aide to frequent and unplanned utilization.
Coupled with the 100 inch shock corded screen offered as an accessory, transport and destination application is facilitated.

I never had a moments trouble from the CosmosMax and I anticipate ( hopefully) the same quality from the Nebula X1 system.

Just... Wow

I have to be honest, it takes a lot to make me excited and breathless about new tech. It was much easier as a kid when I got a laptop or upgraded my phone from a T9 touchpad to a smartphone. But lately, not a lot has made me just go "wow." And that's why it was so surprising when I unboxed the Nebula X1, pointed it at my bedroom wall, turned it on, and just went absolutely silent as MAGIC unveiled itself in front of my eyes. The Nebula X1 is an amazing projector, there's no doubt of that. Now before I go further, know that there's a lot of adjectives and features that may mean more to those more tech-savvy than I am that I won't go through. Features like a 14-element all-glass lens, short-to-long throw ratio, 5000:1 native contrast are all things that I think sounds good but I ultimately don't know much about. What I will tell you is how phenomenal the X1 performs. At the first power-on, it automatically figures how the best way to project the screen onto my bedroom wall using AI. A grid was projected onto the wall and I believe a sensor was used to determine how to adjust the image using its gimbal. The X1 stayed cool even after hours of usage too. We watched a couple of movies the first night we had it and the sides of the projectors stayed cool the entire time. It might have something to do with that liquid cooling component. The image is wonderful too. We estimated that it projected an approximately 150" screen onto our bedroom window and it didn't even look grainy. I know that it can handle up to 300" but I don't think I have a surface large enough for it to project that. The image was bright enough to be seen in a well lit room. Turning down the ambient lights made it even better! Dolby Vision is built into this projector and it really shows. Dolby Audio adds more depth to the viewing experience too! The projector has a strong bass and full audio. It really felt like a theater-going experience with that speaker system. The user interface is something that I needed to get used to. Coming from Roku-powered TVs, Google TV is pretty similar at some places, clunkier at others. It took a while to get set up to use Google TV and there's always a strange feeling that it wants personal info to offer something more personalized. Some apps were slow to respond to my controls using the remote but I suspect that it is in part due to it being the first time that I opened it and it will open and navigate more easily on my 2nd or 3rd time using it.Lastly, let's talk about the design. I mean, this is just an absolutely gorgeous device. With its matte black and gray finish, the X1 looks like a professional-grade device. The retractable handle that flushes in with the body of the device just adds more elements of futurism to what is already a pretty futuristic work of art. There are many ways to control it, including the touch controls on top of the projector, the included remote, and the Nebula app.In terms of access, there are several ports that you can use to cast and project content from other devices using the X1. HDMI, USB-c, USB-A, and eARC.So for $3000, is this projector worth the price. YES! Without a doubt, it is worth the price. It is such a high-performing projector with excellent picture quality, sound, usability, and design. The Nebula team should be proud of what they developed. For anyone looking to have outdoor theater experiences or even indoor cinema time, the Nebula X1 is an excellent choice for all your projector needs.HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Amazing quality!

Extremely impressed with this. I expected this to be getting grainy like old projectors but this is straight up HD. We have a vaulted ceiling in our house so we project onto it. It is the same quality as our regular HD TV. It's unbelievable. Setup is super simple and even easier if you have Google Home. We watch hockey games, movies, Netflix, even project from our computer and play PS5 on it. Very versatile. It is big though, almost the size of a desktop computer. It has an easy carrying handle though. Overall super happy with this!

Anker definitely upped the ante!

We earlier set up a screen porch theater with a pull down ELITE 100” 1.1 gain white screen for us and the grandkids. I’ve become a little obsessed with class leading long throw laser projectors. I have one that advertises as 2600 ANSI lumens and it is bright, but when I saw this one at 3500 ANSI lumens , I talked myself into pulling the trigger. The Anker Nebula TriLaser came double boxed with nice form fitted padded covers for protection . This is the kind of pack that leaves an impression this company does not skimp on quality. Inside is a beautiful projector with a carrying handle that pops up when needed and recesses back in place, a power supply, BACKLIT remote, two AAA batteries. Plug in the power cord, remove the plastic protection film around the lens area and power up the projector. We followed the on screen setup step by step guide. We took our time with the settings, along with auto Keystone and auto Focus to get the picture centered and fully filling the 100” screen. Our setup places the projector about 8-9’ from the screen. The motorized gimbal is a very nice feature as well as eye protection should someone walk in front of the projector. Did I say this liquid cooled laser projector is quiet? It is very quiet and barely noticeable even when standing beside the projector. We were anxious to find a 4K movie or 4K video and found some 4K content on YouTube. Stunningly bright picture, even in daylight. The nice box has a build in handle that make it perfect for storage, but also can be used to move it around if needed.I’ve added several pictures below to show the picture quality. These were taken about 5pm after I tweaked a few of the many image quality settings offered. I ended up with a 70% brightness Dolby Vision (which is a boosted HDR10+) picture and I added a little more color saturation, increased the hue and contrast. The all-glass 14 element lens projects a perfectly focused picture. The sound quality was very good and loud with the built-in speakers. At a setting of about 1/3 volume, it was plenty loud and has surprisingly nice bass. Since I have had two large stereo speakers mounted on each side of the screen, we chose the external speaker selection from the settings, and used an audio cable to plug into our receiver/amp. Couple of small issues I would be remiss if I did not mention. At this price point, I would have expected a nice dust cover to protect the projector. Also, the instruction booklet is very small and need a magnifying glass to read. You be the judge taking a look at the pictures below. Again, to say we are impressed does not do justice. My wife stepped out on the screen porch and watched a portion of a HD movie with me. She liked it! What else can I say? Anker upped the ante with this TriLaser projector. Just purchase one and enjoy with friends and family!
