Capsule 3 (New) | 1080p Mini Google TV Projector

My family and I have rented out our home in Devon Uk for a life on the road in our old van. We convinced our children 10 & 14 to bring no screens, if we set up a projector in the van for family movie nights and watching the Olympics. My daughter if deaf , she realise on subtitles when watching tv so we blew the budget and got a Nebula capsule 3.
I did a lot of research before buying the projector and the nebula came out a firm favourite.
we are now one month into our road trip, and I’ve had so much use out of the nebula capsule three.
Last night we watch the opening ceremony for the Paris Olympics, the picture is even better than our TV at home!!

The nebula capsule 3, running Android TV is a great device. Easy to use, easy to setup and the 1080p image looks great. Having such an easy setup makes it a joy to use. Would highly recommend to anyone who wants a TV without the hassle of wall mounting!
Only downside is brightness during daylight, but that's to be expected of a device of this size

I LOVE this projector. It's easy to move, the picture quality is AMAZING. The sound without a speaker is great and overall the ease of use is very smooth.I would like to point out that functionality when plugging the charger or HDMI connected devices up to the projector is not the best. That is the only pitfall. If only the ports were located on the sides of the device instead of in the rear (where it should be flush against a wall or in general) that would make it PERFECT.Maybe that will be an update in the future.

Okay so I’d like to say I was way excited about getting this projector for many reasons. But the main reason is because I’m always traveling with the military I’m always stuck watching tv on my phone and this was recommended by a buddy of mine. I was afraid of dropping so much money on a projector but closed my eye and clicked the buy button. Upon purchase I could see I’d love it. I set it up and it worked for a few days. But unfortunately it was giving me issues with the focus. So I did what I do best and called the company and after several attempts (the rep was very patient even when I was getting frustrated my self because I really started liking this projector). The rep finally told me not to worry that they will send me another projector once I send back the defective one. I did and cross my fingers it’s been over 2 months and it’s still like when I first received the second one.

Great projector, cheap and compact. A few notes:- Brightness is actually good enough for me. Contrast is a little weak but if you're only projecting at night it's fine. Bear in mind that low brightness leads to longer battery life and reduced noise (less cooling required)- Despite being one of the quieter projectors on the market, I would recommend placing it at least 2ft away from your ears, unless you're using earbuds/headphones- The keystone feature is software based, which degrades image quality. Align the projector as well as possible with the screen to avoid relying on that feature- increasing the distance between projector and screen makes the image bigger which makes the experience more immersive, but reduces brightness and pixel densities and can make it harder to focus the whole image if the projector isn't properly aligned (see comment above)- File sharing: install a file explorer to sideload apps. For some reason FX explorer doesn't work with my USB stick so I've been using adb to send/remove files instead- This product is hard to disassemble and there are no spare parts available. If anything goes wrong once the guarantee is over you'll have to replace the whole thing
