This was my second projector I have ever bought, the first being a cheap £60 unknown brand one which was terrible a few years ago. This is 100x better overall, with the key stone correction and image quality. It is only 1080p HD quality, but what great picture overall, and projecting at about 100 inch screen with potential of reaching 150”. Not had a larger wall to try any bigger but I personally think that was more than suitable. I watched a 4K video which downscaled to 1080p, but could barely tell the difference. Fantastic that it has google tv built in, which I never used before, so functional and easy to use. At 400 lumens the brightness is great, the black colours are dark and the bright colours have great contrast. So far a great portable projector that can be transported outside or in. I have watched various things since using, such as; tour de france biking, films, tv shows, and most of the tv apps, as well as trying outside in the evening. They all work great. I should say that I was debating on getting the Nebula Capsule 3 instead of this, but the more research I did the more it led me to this product simply for its increased lumens, projector’s size, and ability of increasing the screen size without distorting much of the image. I am not saying I wouldn’t choose the Nebula Capsule 3, but this projector had more going for me. Unless anything happens I will update my review, but this has been my best purchase this year.I am no expert of projectors but I think this is a great entry product, and for enjoying a home cinema like setup.

The Anker Nebula Mars 3 Air is a portable masterpiece compared to all those other crap chinese projectors for 100-400 GBP. Ive went through around 6 if not 7. Save a little bit up and buy this piece of machinery. It has impressive performance when it comes to the OS lag and speed (better than my smart TV), Its sleek design makes it easy to take anywhere, perfect for movie nights and presentations on the go. The 400 ANSI lumens brightness and 1080p resolution ensure a bright and clear picture, whether you're watching movies, playing games, or giving presentations. (When a playstation or xbox is detected, the projector turns into gaming mode providing a very smooth gameplay, VERY low (I'd say immediate, as good as a tv) input lag. And the HDR is really noticeable during the night, little less so during the day due to the lack of lumens to handle HDR)Connectivity HDMI, USB, and wireless casting via AirPlay and Miracast, offering flexibility to connect a variety of devices seamlessly. The built-in dual 5W speakers produce rich and immersive sound, enhancing the overall viewing experience without the need for external speakers. Especially the PS5 (sounds phenomenal). While the Mars 3 Air's battery life may be limited to around 3 hours, it's a small trade-off for its portability. The built-in fan can be audible during quiet scenes, but it's a minor inconvenience considering the projector's overall performance.Only downside I could think of is the focus, it seems to struggle to keep the whole image focused when further away (around 7 feet). I'm unsure if it's a software bug or the camera within the projector which may be low quality which causes the struggle. If you have a PS5 though, this is definitely your Go-to if you're on a 500GBP budget. I managed to enable surround-sound with dolby atmos audio, HDR10 and 4k video output on YouTube and netflix (the projector doesn't support 4k but higher bitrate video really improves image clarity making the image even better). So for those who have surround sound and want a projector, the projector in the settings has a dolby digital plus setting and you can tweak the bass and treble to your preferences, but if you have surround sound and a PS5, connect it to the projector and... congrats you have a cinema at home

This projector is far, far better than anticipated at the price point. When running on battery it does need to be in a room that isn’t immersed in daylight, but when on mains power it can project well in most lights. The colour depth and contrast is remarkable and the resolution is very sharp. The inputs, remote control and operating system are extremely easy to use. I have found that the inbuilt speakers reproduce sound relatively faithfully and can get loud enough to fill a decent sized room. All in all, really surprised by this device. Very impressed.
