Just... Wow
I have to be honest, it takes a lot to make me excited and breathless about new tech. It was much easier as a kid when I got a laptop or upgraded my phone from a T9 touchpad to a smartphone. But lately, not a lot has made me just go "wow." And that's why it was so surprising when I unboxed the Nebula X1, pointed it at my bedroom wall, turned it on, and just went absolutely silent as MAGIC unveiled itself in front of my eyes. The Nebula X1 is an amazing projector, there's no doubt of that.
Amazing quality!
Extremely impressed with this. I expected this to be getting grainy like old projectors but this is straight up HD. We have a vaulted ceiling in our house so we project onto it. It is the same quality as our regular HD TV. It's unbelievable. Setup is super simple and even easier if you have Google Home. We watch hockey games, movies, Netflix, even project from our computer and play PS5 on it. Very versatile. It is big though, almost the size of a desktop computer. It has an easy carrying handle though. Overall super happy with this!
Anker definitely upped the ante!
We earlier set up a screen porch theater with a pull down ELITE 100” 1.1 gain white screen for us and the grandkids. I’ve become a little obsessed with class leading long throw laser projectors. I have one that advertises as 2600 ANSI lumens and it is bright, but when I saw this one at 3500 ANSI lumens , I talked myself into pulling the trigger. The Anker Nebula TriLaser came double boxed with nice form fitted padded covers for protection .

Now before I go further, know that there's a lot of adjectives and features that may mean more to those more tech-savvy than I am that I won't go through. Features like a 14-element all-glass lens, short-to-long throw ratio, 5000:1 native contrast are all things that I think sounds good but I ultimately don't know much about. What I will tell you is how phenomenal the X1 performs. At the first power-on, it automatically figures how the best way to project the screen onto my bedroom wall using AI. A grid was projected onto the wall and I believe a sensor was used to determine how to adjust the image using its gimbal. The X1 stayed cool even after hours of usage too. We watched a couple of movies the first night we had it and the sides of the projectors stayed cool the entire time. It might have something to do with that liquid cooling component. The image is wonderful too. We estimated that it projected an approximately 150" screen onto our bedroom window and it didn't even look grainy. I know that it can handle up to 300" but I don't think I have a surface large enough for it to project that. The image was bright enough to be seen in a well lit room. Turning down the ambient lights made it even better! Dolby Vision is built into this projector and it really shows. Dolby Audio adds more depth to the viewing experience too! The projector has a strong bass and full audio. It really felt like a theater-going experience with that speaker system. The user interface is something that I needed to get used to. Coming from Roku-powered TVs, Google TV is pretty similar at some places, clunkier at others. It took a while to get set up to use Google TV and there's always a strange feeling that it wants personal info to offer something more personalized. Some apps were slow to respond to my controls using the remote but I suspect that it is in part due to it being the first time that I opened it and it will open and navigate more easily on my 2nd or 3rd time using it.Lastly, let's talk about the design. I mean, this is just an absolutely gorgeous device. With its matte black and gray finish, the X1 looks like a professional-grade device. The retractable handle that flushes in with the body of the device just adds more elements of futurism to what is already a pretty futuristic work of art. There are many ways to control it, including the touch controls on top of the projector, the included remote, and the Nebula app.In terms of access, there are several ports that you can use to cast and project content from other devices using the X1. HDMI, USB-c, USB-A, and eARC.So for $3000, is this projector worth the price. YES! Without a doubt, it is worth the price. It is such a high-performing projector with excellent picture quality, sound, usability, and design. The Nebula team should be proud of what they developed. For anyone looking to have outdoor theater experiences or even indoor cinema time, the Nebula X1 is an excellent choice for all your projector needs.HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

This is the kind of pack that leaves an impression this company does not skimp on quality. Inside is a beautiful projector with a carrying handle that pops up when needed and recesses back in place, a power supply, BACKLIT remote, two AAA batteries. Plug in the power cord, remove the plastic protection film around the lens area and power up the projector. We followed the on screen setup step by step guide. We took our time with the settings, along with auto Keystone and auto Focus to get the picture centered and fully filling the 100” screen. Our setup places the projector about 8-9’ from the screen. The motorized gimbal is a very nice feature as well as eye protection should someone walk in front of the projector. Did I say this liquid cooled laser projector is quiet? It is very quiet and barely noticeable even when standing beside the projector. We were anxious to find a 4K movie or 4K video and found some 4K content on YouTube. Stunningly bright picture, even in daylight. The nice box has a build in handle that make it perfect for storage, but also can be used to move it around if needed.I’ve added several pictures below to show the picture quality. These were taken about 5pm after I tweaked a few of the many image quality settings offered. I ended up with a 70% brightness Dolby Vision (which is a boosted HDR10+) picture and I added a little more color saturation, increased the hue and contrast. The all-glass 14 element lens projects a perfectly focused picture. The sound quality was very good and loud with the built-in speakers. At a setting of about 1/3 volume, it was plenty loud and has surprisingly nice bass. Since I have had two large stereo speakers mounted on each side of the screen, we chose the external speaker selection from the settings, and used an audio cable to plug into our receiver/amp. Couple of small issues I would be remiss if I did not mention. At this price point, I would have expected a nice dust cover to protect the projector. Also, the instruction booklet is very small and need a magnifying glass to read. You be the judge taking a look at the pictures below. Again, to say we are impressed does not do justice. My wife stepped out on the screen porch and watched a portion of a HD movie with me. She liked it! What else can I say? Anker upped the ante with this TriLaser projector. Just purchase one and enjoy with friends and family!
